The spirator has a patented spring design that overcomes door-closing problems caused by high-hoistway air pressure and wind shaft velocity.
With its helical-groove design, SmarTork™ provides more tension in the “door-closed” position than in the “door-open” position and regains tension as it closes the door. The unihub makes it interchangeable with most square-shaft or dual-pin mounting brackets and meets or exceeds ASME A17.1 and related codes.
